Muscat: Customs officials have foiled an attempt to smuggle over 1,500 kgs of heroin.
A statement issued online by Oman Customs said, "The General Administration of Customs foils the smuggling of 1,765 kilograms of heroin, which were professionally hidden inside a postal package for vehicle spare parts."
