A real estate court is to be established for the first time in Bahrain soon similar to the Dubai Real Estate Court, said Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) board member and Bahrain Property Development Association chairman Aref Ahmed Hijris.

The move aims to solve any property dispute worth BD100,000 within 44 days from the date it is filed, he said. A RERA work team has examined international laws in connection with such courts to opt for suitable laws to be implemented in the court, he added, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
