AMMAN - Labour Minister Yousef Shamali on Monday signed six agreements with private sector companies that will provide more than 1,150 jobs this year in various parts of the Kingdom.

The minister said that the agreements are part of the ministry's role in enhancing partnership with the private sector and networking between jobseekers and employers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The hiring companies are specialised in food industries, security and protection and logistical services as well as a petroleum management firm.
