AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Sunday, dissolving the Senate as of September 27, 2020, according to a Royal Court statement.

Another Royal Decree was issued on Sunday, appointing 65 members of the Senate.

Also on Sunday, a separate Royal Decree appointed Faisal Fayez as president of the Senate, as of September 27, 2020.
