(TAP) - The Ministry of Transport and Logistics is working to find solutions to restore the pace of activity of the airport of Sfax which is experiencing a decline in the number of passengers and suffers a deficit of about 10 million dinars, Minister Moez Chakchouk said Monday.

Answering a question put by MP Noomane El Euch on the situation of the airport of Sfax, the minister said the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports (OACA) will invest 14 million dinars for the extension of the airport.

The minister also pointed to the need to resume Tunisair and Tunisair express flights from Sfax airport, stressing the importance of giving an African depth to the activity of this airport.
