KUWAIT CITY - Deputy CEO for Fuel Supply Operations at Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) Ghanim Al-Otaibi said the company plans to set up 15 fuel stations to serve the new residential areas in the north and south of Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily.

He explained that KNPC has been coordinating with the Arab Engineering Consultants Bureau to obtain necessary approvals from the relevant government agencies.

The necessary approvals will be obtained for the allocation of the project’s budget. The contract to build all the fuel stations will be given to one contractor. The completion rate is expected to be 90 percent during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2019/2020.

Based on KNPC’s intentions to provide sufficient number of stations for meeting the future needs of fuel due to the expansion of the country, the company has prepared a comprehensive plan to build 100 new fuel stations based on the latest technology.
