MANAMA: The first Mena Royal Investment Summit 2021, an initiative of the private office of Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Duaij Al Khalifa, has been moved to June due to high demand and to accommodate new regional and global partners.

Initially scheduled for May 25-26, the virtual summit will be now be held on June 23 and 24 and features two days of curated content from more than 40 innovators worldwide.

Supported by 14 sponsors, organisers of the event have collaborated with more than 200 family offices in the region and across the world to select industry pioneers in the field to take part, who will join key clients and highlight prospects on a regional and international scale to raise money and build relationships for future opportunities.

The event will include a spotlight on Bahrain and insights on artificial intelligence and machine learning, cryptocurrency and blockchain, fintech, healthcare technology, cybersecurity, e-commerce, banking and finance, agritech and venture capital.

Judith Rodin, a philanthropist and former president of the Rockefeller Foundation; Anat Tsour Segal; a cleantech and healthtech venture capitalist; Khaliya Aga Khan, a philanthropist and an advocate for mental health; Esther Barak Landes, one of the most prolific and successful tech deal-makers in Israel; Hans Henrik Christensen, vice-president of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority; have been announced as new speakers joining an elite panel.
