Juhayna names new chairman

Cairo – Mubasher: The board of directors of Juhayna Food Industries approved the appointment of Mohamed Abdullah Mohamed El-Dogheim as the company’s chairman.

El-Dogheim has been a board member at Juhayna since 1983 and he is a member at the Egyptian Saudi Business Council and the Saudi Dawadmi Chamber of Commerce, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

Last week, the company’s former Chairman Safwan Thabet was arrested pending an investigation.

During the first nine months of 2020, Juhayna Food Industries achieved net profits of EGP 383.74 million, up from EGP 291 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights.
