Abu Dhabi’s Yas Waterworld, a one-of-a-kind waterpark offering families fun-packed adventures and the engaging themed experiences, is set to introduce the region’s very first open-air waterpark cinema.

On November 16, Cinema Under the Stars joins a line-up of one-of-a-kind experiences offered by Yas Waterworld.

Beginning at 6 pm, every Friday until November 30, and every Thursday and Friday until December 28, the park home to a sprawling collection of more than 40 rides, slides, and attractions will invite guests to a unique cinematic experience under the beautiful night sky.

Open to waterpark fans of all ages, friends and family can sit back and relax in beach chairs or inflatable tubes as they watch their favourite movies play on an outdoor cinema screen at the Amwaj Wave Pool.

Under a starlight sky, a fun-filled and relaxing evening will feature one movie per night followed by Yas Waterworld character meet-and-greets and photo-ops for the whole family. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy tailored F&B offerings including snacks and treats like popcorn and ice cream.

“As we near the end of another successful year, we’re delighted to be the first in the region to introduce an open-air cinema experience to a waterpark,” said Bianca Sammut, general manager, Yas Waterworld. “Our promise to guests has always been to provide them with new experiences that bring them together with their loved ones, and we can’t wait to open our doors for the very first Cinema Under the Stars at Yas Waterworld.”

Scheduled movies throughout the duration of the event include family-favourites such as The Lion King, Shrek, Jumanji, and Night at the Museum.

Single Day tickets can be purchased online or at the Yas Waterworld ticketing counters. Also, Sundowner Tickets are available from 4pm for Dh125 ($34), and Movie Screening Tickets are available from 6pm for Dh55. Children under three years of age enter free, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
