KUWAIT CITY: Director of the Business Owners Service Center at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Muhammad Al-Ansari revealed that the number of files registered in the Small and Medium Enterprises Center reached about 4,000 with 78,000 workers registered under them, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Ansari told the daily that “as a result of concessions granted to owners of small and medium enterprises, the authority developed a plan to limit the spread of jobless individuals among these enterprises, and cut off all means toward illegal work or violation of the law.”

He confirmed the formation of a team consisting of directors of the inspection, needs assessment, legal affairs and labor relations departments, in addition to the director of the Business Owners Service Center, to follow up the suspended files or those suspected of exploiting privileges in violation of the law.
