(TAP) - The Industry, Mines and Energy Ministry awarded a hydrocarbon exploration permit, known as Boughrara permit, to the Tunisian company for petroleum Activities (French: ETAP ) and Dover Investments Limited at a rate of 50% for each.

The four-year permit covers a total area of 2,956 km 2, according to the Official Gazette of the Tunisian Republic.

Dover Investments Limited shall undertake to meet all its contractual obligations. This includes conducting geophysical studies, reprocessing and interpretation of pre-existing seismic data, production testing on Boughrara-1 well or drilling an exploration well with a total minimum cost of five million dollars.
