NYSE-listed Parsons Corporation announced on Wednesday that it has been appointed as project management consultant (PMC) for the Al Ittihad Sports Village project in Jeddah by Al Ittihad Club Company.

The award marks new work for Parsons and will support design phase of the project, which will be located near King Abdullah Sports City.

The development will include the club’s headquarters, academy training pitches and facilities, performance development centres, administrative buildings, and commercial assets.

“Parsons is proud to support Al Ittihad’s next chapter in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s Quality of Life Programme which enables sports to flourish within the Kingdom,” said Mark Otter, Managing Director and Regional Headquarters Lead of Parsons’ operations in Saudi Arabia.

The project is being designed to meet parameters aligned with FIFA standards and international best practices, supporting the development of high-performance sports infrastructure in the Kingdom.
