Dubai-based master developer Nakheel has appointed contractors for Jebel Ali Village, a new residential development with luxury villas and townhouses.
The contract for developing villas and their infrastructure was awarded to iBuild Construction.
United Engineering Construction Co. bagged the deal to build the townhouses and their infrastructure, the master developer said in a statement.
Construction works are currently underway, the statement added.
The value of the contracts and completion timelines were not shared.
In November 2021, Nakheel launched the redevelopment of Jebel Ali Village into an upscale residential community.
Spanning 80 hectares, Jebel Ali Village will comprise three clusters, each containing modern, spacious villas, swimming pools, parks and sports facilities.
