Y.K Almoayyed Electronics and Home Appliances Project Division - exclusive dealer of Toshiba's SMMSi (Made in Japan) VRF air conditioning systems, - announced the completion of its first project that utilises Toshiba SMMSi VRF system that allow multiple FCU connections to a single outdoor unit. VRF systems are energy efficient technological advancements in the field of air-conditioning that are finding high acceptability in the Middle East region. The system works on R410A which is a green refrigerant and provides maximum benefits in terms of power saving, optimum space utilization and user convenience.
Toshiba is a pioneer and one of the market leaders in VRF air-conditioning systems. Each SMMSi outdoor unit is equipped with multiple digital twin rotary Inverter driven compressors with 0.1 Hz capacity controls that ensure energy efficient operations. Automatic switching between compressors provides balance and reliability.
BAPCO, wholly owned by the Government of Bahrain with a vision of striving for excellence that focuses on energy efficiency and a greener world, opted for Toshiba SMMSi VRF system.
Mr. Ismail, HVAC Engineer from BAPCO, said: "We approved this system because it is reliable and energy efficient -our country deserves the best. This installation was undertaken on behalf of BAPCO and is considered a landmark event as it is the first ToshibaVRF system used by BAPCO in the Kingdom of Bahrain."
