100% environment friendly, non-petroleum based products to significantly cut down construction time and conserve water and manpower Ties up with Oryx Enterprises as sole representatives for the Middle East

Dubai - UAE, 13th June 2006: At a time when the construction sector in the region is inundated with delays and the onset of summer further prompting slowdowns, US based  SINAK  Corporation today announced the introduction of their revolutionary products, 'SINAK  S-102' and 'SINAK  HLQ-125' to effectively aid construction and building in the UAE's booming real estate and infrastructure development sector. SINAK Corporation offers fast, high quality and cost effective methods for curing and waterproofing concrete.

The  products have been tried and tested in select global markets and have proved to cut the otherwise time consuming concrete curing process by at least two thirds  thereby expediting the process and saving on precious manpower and water resources. SINAK treatments have unprecedented track records for above and below-grade waterproofing and protection of concrete from chlorides. Being water based, all SINAK  products are 100% environment friendly, non-flammable and are totally safe for use in both commercial and industrial construction projects, i.e. buildings, homes, hospitals, roads and bridges, pavements, walkways etc.

Announcing this, Mr. Craig Higgins, Director of Operations - SINAK Corporation said, "The real estate and construction sector in the region has been booming at a phenomenal pace with a robust contribution from the UAE alone. As we were looking at expanding geographies, it was but obvious for us to make an entry and tap the potential of this market. The amount of water being used in our product application will be insignificant compared to the normal curing process, even in the hot and windy conditions prevalent here, contributing to water conservation which is dear to this region."

With production facilities and headquarters located in Los Angeles - California, SINAK has tested their products in countries like Canada, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan and Great Britain before shifting focus on the Middle East region. The company has tied up with Oryx Enterprises, a Qatar based company to tap the potential of this market. Oryx Enterprises are established players in the construction business with vast regional experience and technical expertise.

"Typically, water-curing concrete will make the surface unavailable for use between 7 - 21 days. With SINAK S-102 the surface is available in as soon as a single day. This will bring about significant savings to labour costs and the construction schedule as well as a controlled result for concrete quality. Through Oryx Enterprises and their thorough understanding of and faith in our products, we believe that we will be well represented in the region and we look forward to positively contributing to the market here." added Mr. Higgins.

Commenting on this tie up, Mr. Jassim Al Moftah President &, Managing Director Oryx Enterprises said, "We are confident that the new SINAK products will provide very effective alternatives to the construction sector here and we are very happy to introduce them. Our focus will be on taking this product to all the Middle Eastern markets starting with the UAE. We will also provide support in terms of demonstrating proper product application as well as ensuring adequate product supply to this market."

Unlike traditional curing compounds, S-102 contributes additional cementing properties and adds bulking to the concrete surface by adding solids that become a permanent part of the concrete. Other long term benefits include increased surface density, strength and durability. Once a SINAK treatment has been applied reapplication is never required. Some notable projects where SINAK  products have been  used include the ever popular London Underground, the Denver Convention Center, DuPont Circle Station - Washington, D.C., Pittsburgh Airport, Pennsylvania, Pearl Harbor Command Center, Honolulu, Hawaii among others.
