A company which specialises in providing visa handling services for the oil and gas and marine industries is to expand internationally following early success and support from an industry entrepreneur.
UK-based The Visa Company, which launched its services to the oil and gas industry just six months ago, is targeting global expansion and considering additional locations in the Middle East and Far East with a view to opening an international site within the next six months.
The company was set up by managing director Neil Thomson in Aberdeen in late 2015, but demand has already seen it expand in the UK, with offices in Glasgow and London, and another in Edinburgh planned.
Kevin Smith, who has a record of running and backing successful companies including oil and gas recruitment businesses Atlantic Reso urcing and Offshore Marine Services, is a providing a significant six-figure investment as well as invaluable expertise to The Visa Team. The company is believed to be Scotland's only business completely dedicated to providing an efficient and low cost process for obtaining visas for personnel travelling from the UK to deliver projects around the world.
The Visa Team provides a wide range of services including global visa applications, private embassy visits, new passports, express passports, legal notarising and translation.
