Abu Dhabi on Thursday:In light of the National Disinfection Programme announced by the Ministry of Health Prevention (MoHAP) and the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi announced the suspension of its public transport services starting from Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 8:00 PM to Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 6:00 AM. That is in order to conduct a complete sterilisation of the public transport means and facilities.

The sterilisation of the public transport means and facilities aims at controlling the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and maintaining the public health.  

It is worth to mention that ITC have started number of precautionary actions since the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) including the extensive cleaning and sterilisation of the public transport modes in order to protect the society and public transport users.
