SSH was awarded the design of Zunairah Villas and Juman One residential block at Al Mouj, Muscat (formally known as The Wave, Muscat), a public-private venture between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Majid Al Futtaim Properties (based in the UAE).
SSH was appointed to design two villa prototypes to be used in the latest addition to Al Mouj Muscat community master plan; Zunairah, a limited collection of exclusive beachfront villas. Split into two zones, Z1 with a total built-up area of approximately 900 sqm, and Z2 with a 1800 sqm built-up area, the prototypes are designed to provide the ultimate in luxury, aiming to set a new benchmark for residential living in the Sultanate.
Juman One is the first unique instalment in the development providing resort-living services of elegance and style. It will offer uninterrupted views to Almouj Marina, the award-winning marina and flagship yachting and sailing destination in Oman.
Offering 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, Juman One was designed with serenity and sophistication embedded in its architectural ethos. With services to match, the prestigious residence will offer a modern gym with male and female spas and changing rooms, an owners' lounge and outside lounging areas, games room, and a concierge service. There are also three adjacent pools cascading towards the marina, made up of a lounging pool, children's pool and a lap pool. Six penthouses are designed with the same theme in mind, offering opulent architecture with open-plan features, spa bathrooms, terraces, and 5-bedroom units, with two central penthouses offering a private outdoor lap pool and jacuzzi.
The world-class lifestyle and leisure destination bridges people, businesses and cultures to create a thriving waterfront community along the 6km stretch of coast in Muscat. It will comprise of luxury residential properties, retail and dining facilities, Oman's only signature designed PGA standard 18-hole links golf course and the 400 berth Almouj Marina, Oman's largest private yachting hub.
SSH was also awarded the design of Ghadeer master plan, a community focused neighbourhood with facilities like kindergarten and multi-purpose hall. The Ghadeer award came following the successful delivery of two master plans for Almouj, Muscat; Zunairah and Jinan master plans. Noteworthy, Zunairah sales were launched to a positive reception and are attracting much interest in the market.
