Sharjah: SANED Facility Management, owned by Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, has signed an agreement with the Sharjah Education Council to supply the assistance of ‘babysitter’ supervisors to the government nurseries affiliated with the Council.
The Council contributes to providing support and assistance to the supervisory and administrative authority working in nurseries, and for the care of children by following the standards applied by the Council.
In this regard, the agreement was signed by the Sharjah Education Council Secretary-General His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, and SANED Chief Executive Officer Engineer Sultan Musabeh Al Ketbi.
The agreement stipulates that SANED Facility Management will provide the nurseries of the Council with 112 qualified and trained babysitters to the highest standards that enforce Sharjah as a child-friendly city. These babysitters will take care of the children in accordance with the standards set by the Council, with the possibility of increasing the number according to the need and instructions in future.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla said: "The Sharjah Education Council is working to translate the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in education, as the main pillar in sustainable development, with unlimited support from His Highness, which motivates us to work more and provide the best educational environment to continue the march of progress and renaissance witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah in particular, and the UAE in general. This agreement with SANED due to its expertise in the field of supplying babysitters and the field of outsourcing specialised works through supplying trained manpower in various fields will play a key role in supporting the nurseries.”
He added: "The Sharjah Education Council supervises 29 government nurseries in various parts of the Emirate of Sharjah, all of which aim to contribute to building the child culturally, socially, religiously and healthily, and refining the various educational skills of children affiliated with nurseries while adhering to the precautionary measures in this exceptional period to ensure the preservation of the health and safety of children, their parents, and educational & administrative staff.
On his part, Engineer Sultan Musabeh Al Ketbi said: "We are pleased to sign this important agreement with the Sharjah Education Council, to supply babysitters, in a way that contributes to the integration of efforts with the Council, which works to provide the best conditions for a lively and interactive educational environment that reflects positively on children and assured their parents that their children are in safe hands.”
He added: "We thank the Sharjah Education Council for their confidence in the services provided by SANED, and we are pleased to be partners in the Council's activities and to contribute its achievements that serve the community and enhance the educational process, and we always welcome partnership and cooperation with government agencies that aspire to provide distinguished services to its employees and clients.”
Babysitters contribute to achieving the comprehensive and integrated development of the child in all respects, physical, psychological, health, social and cognitive, in addition to the participation of the supervisor or the teacher in supervising the children and ensuring their safety at all times from the moment they receive them until the time of their departure, and the commitment to implement the daily programme of the nursery, and help the lab or the supervisor prepares the classroom before the arrival of the children, in addition, to meet and welcome the children and play with them in the classroom until the start of the daily programme, and other tasks that contribute to providing the best educational environment for the child.
