Dubai - UAE: SHAREit Group, a global technology company, announced today that its file sharing, content streaming, and gaming application SHAREit now ranks amongst the Middle East region's elite top five Android user platforms across gaming and non-gaming industry categories. In the Retention Index, SHAREit has expanded its influence into the non-gaming category, ranking fourth in the volume and power rankings for the social category while strengthening its position in the gaming segment, achieving a volume ranking of fourth and power ranking of fifth in the gaming segment's simulation category, and a volume ranking of fifth for the gaming arcade category. The rankings are provided by AppsFlyer, a marketing measurement and experience platform which released the 13th edition of their Performance Index last week, featuring the top media sources in mobile advertising. The report included 623 media sources to examine 33 billion app installs, 17,000 apps, and 55 billion app opens.

At the regional level, the app-based media publisher was placed favorably in several categories in both gaming and non-gaming industries overall. Besides the above results, SHAREit also achieved top 10 volume and power rankings in the gaming industry's casual, hyper casual, midcore, and puzzle categories, as well as the non-gaming sector's life and culture category. SHAREit also powered its way into helping monetizing gaming apps, ranking in the top 10 in the IAA Index.

"With consumers spending more time online than ever before, in-app purchases are on the rise as a result, and the Middle East market has been no exception to this trend in 2021," explained Karam Malhotra, Partner and Global Vice-President at SHAREit Group. "As SHAREit Group aspires to become an advertising powerhouse for regional brands, these efforts have been boosted by successfully capitalizing on growth recorded in several areas. Such outcomes have been key behind us becoming a leading media published for regional companies operating in various gaming and non-gaming spaces, and we look forward to the coming years as we continue supporting their in-app purchases and long-term development aspirations."

In addition to SHAREit's impressive Middle East rankings, the platform was also recognized at the international level, ranking fourth globally in the volume rankings for IAP index across all categories after Google, Facebook and TikTok. SHAREit has also expanded its influence by successfully breaking out into new territories, becoming the fastest-growing publisher in North America and second fastest in Latin America after TikTok.The rankings spotlight the growing role of SHAREit as a preferred marketing platform for mobile marketers looking to drive quality users and branding, with hundreds of customers from the finance and e-commerce spaces, which is a key strategic growth area for the company.

SHAREit's primary feature is the peer-to-peer file transfer, allowing users to share videos, apps, pictures and more, with other devices without using internet or Bluetooth connection. Being one of the first app channel partners of Google Play, it also ensures secure application transfers with peer-to-peer offline app sharing.

SHAREit has also established itself as a one-stop digital content platform, providing users with gaming, content discovery and consumption services. SHAREit has a dedicated gaming center on the application, which offers HTML5 games, gaming videos, and an option to download hot games. With games across all genres, it has one of the largest catalogs of mobile games from developers across the globe. SHAREit continued its impressive upward momentum in the gaming category ranking 8th globally and also expanding its strong presence from midcore and casual to being ranked in the top 10 across all categories, including arcade, puzzle, simulation and hyper-casual games globally, according to the recent AppsFlyer Performance Index XIII.
