CLP, CLX and SCX series compact MFPs designed to maximize usability and make life easier

Middle East - October 10th, 2010 - Samsung Electronics, a leading name in the world of consumer electronics and information technology, recently introduced three new lines of multifunction printers (MFPs) designed to offer users a unique printing experience that maximizes output while remaining environmentally friendly.

The Samsung CLP, CLX and SCX series of MFPs incorporate a number of easy to use one-touch features into the products' design, making usability easier and faster without compromising on quality, convenience, stylish design or efficiency, making the new range of products a natural fit for any home or small office.

CLX series

The devices' advanced innovative features are seamlessly integrated into the device's design. Ideal for the smallest of working environments, the new printers and MFPs are even more compact than previous Samsung models, making them the smallest on the market. They also feature a streamlined design and a stylish, glossy, chic black and cream grey finish. The CLX-3185FW colour laser MFPs offer print speeds of up to 16 pages per minute (ppm) in monochrome and 4 ppm in colour, while also providing a convenient fax solution for users. The CLX-3185FW also uses Samsung's unique One Touch Wi-Fi Setting that automatically configures the MFP and wireless network for quick, easy and secure use, without the hassle of creating security keys or passwords.

CLP series

The improved print specifications offer consumers luminary color printer quality, with up to 2,400x600 dpi effective output ensuring a professional touch and effect on photographs and documents. The complete package provides versatile functions with the highest quality toner cartridge. The CLP-325W provides a convenient and economic choice for an all-in-one package. The CLP-325W also incorporate Samsung's Navigation Key Ring, where users can navigate printing options quickly and easily, reducing the amount of time it takes to gain familiarity with the device. Additional features for the CLP-325W includes an ultra-convenient One Touch Wi-Fi setting, allowing users to connect quickly and easily to a wireless network.

SCX series

Designed with personal users or individual office users in mind, the Samsung SCX-3205W and SCX-4623FW feature a space-saving MFP in a stylish design, incorporating wireless functionality to connect to a home or small office wireless network supporting WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and dlna® (Digital Living Network Alliance), facilitating access over a multi-user network or simply in a wireless home or office where more than one product need to be connected, such as laptops, Netbooks, cameras, smart phones and more. The SCX-3205W and SCX-4623FW offer print speeds of up to 17 and 23 pages-per-minute (ppm) respectively in a high-quality, small and stylish MFP for personal users with regular printing needs, such as professionals and students.

The full range of CLP, CLX and SCX series is compatible with Samsung's AnyWeb Print software. This allows users to select, drag and drop specific content from web pages into a new blank page on their PC screen, which they can then save or print. The AnyWeb Print software allows users to print just the information they really need, rather than printing several whole web pages. This means users are not wasting time or resources such as paper and toner.

Additionally, the new range of MFPs also allows users to easily 'go green' with a soft power button placed directly on the front panel, making it much easier to switch the machine on and off, helping to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, while the Eco Print button allows for economic and easy print-outs in 2-up and 600dpi resolution, saving paper, toner, and time.
