UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, Abu Dhabi: Reach British School, part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), has appointed Sarah Warncken as the Head of Secondary, for the academic year beginning September 2021.
Sarah, who along with being a qualified teacher, holds a BA Hons Law and Sociology Degree from the University of Kent. She joins the team at Reach British School with over 10 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles from schools in the UK.

She has extensive experience in curriculum design and has been at the forefront in delivering training around cutting edge educational research findings to hundreds of teaching professionals. As part of her new role, Sarah will be focused on further developing the IGCSE, AS Level and A Level offering at the school and expanding and refining the subject curriculums as our secondary numbers continue to grow. Sarah is keen to build on the successes of the secondary school to date and in particular to ensure students’ outcomes continue to improve year on year. Sarah’s expertise and interest in teaching and learning in the classroom means she will be taking a keen interest in upskilling all teachers with highly effective classroom strategies to cater for all learners, and to ensure the offer in every classroom, every day is interesting, exciting and innovative.
