Doha, Qatar: In celebration of Qatar National Day, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) is rewarding its customers through a special promotion to grant double Absher points on local credit cards spend.
All eligible Credit Cards will earn double Absher points as a special bonus offer on all their local spends until 18th of December. The double Absher points will be offered for local spends on primary and supplementary cards. For example, a Visa Infinite or Mastercard World credit cardholder will be offered 2 Absher points for every QAR 6 local spend. The bonus Absher points will be credited by 18th January 2022 to all eligible customers.

Anand, QIB's General Manager – Personal Banking Group said: “We are very happy with the launch of yet another significant offer to celebrate Qatar National Day and reward our loyal customers using their Credit Cards. We know many customers are excited to celebrate Qatar’s history and achievements, so we also would like to participate from our side to the celebrations through this offer. As digital payments continue to grow at a strong pace, we are confident that the double Absher points will accelerate the adoption of a safer and rewarding experience”.
QIB customers can earn Absher points every time they engage with the bank’s products and services, including transferring their salaries for the first time, opening fixed deposit accounts, using their QIB Credit and Debit Cards, in addition to registering for the QIB Mobile App and making international transfers from the Mobile App.
Customers can also choose to redeem their Absher points against vouchers to shop at the Mall of Qatar and all Al Meera supermarkets in Qatar, or settle their Ooredoo, Vodafone or Kahramaa utility bills. Absher points can also be exchanged against e-vouchers for Uber, Careem, Talabat, or any of our Redeem Partners. The Absher points can also be used to book flights with over 900 airlines, book a room from over 450,000 hotels or rent a car from more than 150,000 car rental offices in more than 150 cities worldwide. Customers also have access to the online shopping store specialized in redeeming points with thousands of products across different categories, ranging from electronic items, personal and household items from leading brands.
