Muscat - Reinforcing its commitment to building world leading events by forging sustainable relationships with Oman's business events industry, the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) has signed an agreement with East Expo to host the three-day International Medical Tourism Exhibition & Conference (IMTEC Oman), on the 28th of March 2016.
"While the OCEC is bringing the global events community to the Sultanate, we are also strengthening Oman's own business events industry - helping make home grown events world class, increasing their international presence and making sure they gain the market share they deserve in this fast-paced industry," stated Trevor McCartney, the OCEC General Manager. "There is a great deal of well-respected events expertise in the Sultanate and we are keen on unleashing its potential."
Eyad Bdeir, General Manager of East Expo, was in full agreement and added, "IMTEC is an established successful event which has attracted over 10,000 medical professionals, distributors and suppliers in the past. By hosting IMTEC Oman 2016 at the OCEC, this will provide us with the cutting edge facilities, flexible space and international exposure we need to grow."
