Dubai, December 8, 2006: The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) announced today that Grammy-nominated musician Mos' Def, whose latest release 'The New Danger' is climbing popularity charts worldwide, will perform at the opening night party on December 10. A critically acclaimed musician, Mos' Def is also know for his versatile acting, starring in independent productions as well as box office hits such as The Italian Job, Monster's Ball and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. More recently, Mos' Def featured alongside Bruce Willis in the action adventure 16 Blocks, in which his dramatic characterization of an eye witness on the run set him apart from his contemporaries.
