Specialised Training Programmes to be Offered to Members and Employees of Establishment

Dubai-UAE: 09 June, 2008 - The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders today announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the e-Total Quality Management (e-TQM) College to offer specialized  programmes for its members and employees.

The MOU was signed by Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, and Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Executive Director of E-TQM College, in the presence of officials from both organisations.

According to the MoU, e-TQM College will offer discounts on all its academic programmes to employees and members of the Establishment. On its part, the Establishment will provide annual scholarships and related support to members who are keen to enroll for the academic and professional programmes offered by e-TQM College.

Abdul Baset Al Janahi described the MoU with e-TQM College as a distinctive step towards promoting entrepreneurship among UAE nationals through self sustained projects.

Al Janahi said: "The partnership will be a good opportunity for the Establishment members to benefit from the services of e-TQM College, especially its publishing house, which offers a number of specialized titles in total quality management and institutional excellence. These publications will enable our members and employees to gain additional insight into new management techniques that can be applied during their daily business operations.

"The MoU will also pave way for our employees to acquire additional skill sets and optimize their performance levels to match the highest international standards."

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar said: "We will work closely with the Establishment to provide selective total quality and organizational excellence programmes, specially designed for professionals and entrepreneurs. Our academic courses and continuing education programmes are intended to assist individuals in managerial positions to effectively carry out their responsibilities and achieve enhanced profitability levels.

 "There is a great harmony between the objectives of the Establishment and the services provided by the e-TQM College. Through the MoU, we will jointly initiate measures to fulfill our shared vision of promoting quality, especially among the entrepreneurial class, which is a vital sector of the country's economy."

As part of its ongoing efforts to connect with young nationals seeking a brighter future, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders offers extensive enabling services including facilitating business agreements with leading government and private sector companies. Other services offered to its members include business consultancy, training programmes and logistical support.
