January 10th, 2010- Dubai- During a special visit to the UAE, U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, joined today MBC1's top-rated flagship women's program "Kalam Nawaem" to address Arab women at large, engage with Arab audiences and discuss the world's pressing issues. The three presenters of the show, Fawziyah Salamah, Rania Barghout and Heba Jamal, hosted Secretary Clinton in an hour-long milestone appearance on an Arab TV network, right from Abu Dhabi's "Zayed University" campus.
The main segments of this special "Kalam Nawaem" episode focused on Women in politics, the world before and after 9/11, US foreign policy, the Middle East peace process and cross-cultural dialogue, as well as some "up close & personal" of the U.S. Secretary's private life.
