Company to treat visitors to 'try-it-yourself' demo
MAPEI, the leading global manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for buildings, will launch its latest addition to its pioneering range of adhesives; many of which are now locally-manufactured in the UAE, during the Big 5 International Building & Construction Show taking place from November 21 to 24, 2011 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The company will also allow visitors to experience selected MAPEI products up close under a 'try-it-yourself' theme. Guests can sample the features and benefits of a fast-drying liquid elastic membrane for waterproofing in the interior areas; a solvent-free, non flammable vinyl/PVC adhesive dispersed in water; a ready-to-use solvent-free polyurethane elastic adhesive; or an acid-resistant epoxy mortar for tile joints.
"We want to reach out to the market and educate them on the applications and proper use of our products, so we are using the Big 5 Show as a platform for demonstrating some of our key offerings. This will be an opportunity to gain consumer and industry appreciation for the quality and versatility of our solutions," said Stefano Iannacone, Managing Director, MAPEI.
MAPEI will also give Big 5 participants a feel of its new flooring solutions alongside its new next-generation waterproofing membranes at Hall 7, Stand E291 of the venue. The company will additionally be hosting a seminar titled 'Controlling Corrosion in Reinforced Concrete Buildings and Structures Using MAPESHIELD Innovative Galvanic Protection Technologies' on November 22nd at the Sheikh Rashid Hall.
