Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of Bahrain

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for all efforts aimed at supporting the stability and unity of the brotherly State of Libya to achieve security, peace, and development.

It also calls on all parties to prioritize the public interest and to sit at the dialogue table to reach a consensus to set a date for holding simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections, within the constitutional and legal frameworks.

The Ministry stresses the importance of the pivotal role played by the Libyan House of Representatives as the popularly elected Libyan institution, underlining its full confidence in the ability of all parties and active forces in Libya to overcome this stage and achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people for security, stability, and prosperity.
