In a glittering event held at the Emirates Golf Club ballroom recently, Kia Motors' latest cross-over utility vehicle, KIA Soul, won the prestigious "Best Small Car" Award from Wheels, the UAE's leading motor magazine, at the publication's first-ever awards event.
"The Soul has a bold stance for a mini. Its shape and body lines are refreshingly original, creating an eye-catching blend of sharp and soft angles that give it a daring presence on the road," said a spokesman from the Wheels team of evaluators.
KIA Soul is a brand new addition to Kia's popular line-up and has already become a favorite among young customers for its cross-over capabilities, fuel-efficiency, and convenient size, plus it can be customized with an array of fun-loving body decals.
Commenting on the winning of the Wheels 'Best Small Car Award' from Kia Motors regional headquarters in Dubai, General Manager T. J. Park said, "The Soul deserves this award for its popularity in the UAE and across the globe. KIA Soul is currently available in a 1.6L engine, with its more powerful 2.0L engine counterpart expected to arrive to market shortly.
