Khaleeji Commercial Bank has announced the launch of its online e-banking services, enhancing the range of services currently available to its customers.  The online service will give existing KHCB customers the added convenience of accessing account balances, finance accounts, as well as investment portfolios 24 hours a day.

Mr. Ebrahim H. Ebrahim, CEO and Board Member of Khaleeji Commercial Bank commented "With the recent implementation of online banking, our customers will enjoy additional services that will provide a wider range of banking choices. They can pay their utility bills, Batelco and Zain phone bills, check their balances, and transfer money, all from the comfort of their homes".

"The online service includes another range of services such as Standing Transfer Orders to any of the customers' accounts with the bank, opening Mudarabah (time deposit) accounts and applying for check books and account statements," he added.

KHCB is currently developing the online banking service to provide a range of other options that allow customers to conduct their banking via SMS.  They can arrange for salary credit notification, pay their utility bills, and report a lost ATM card all through their mobile telephones.

The bank has recently announced moving its offices to the Bahrain Financial Harbor, a step reflecting the bank's scope of development. The bank will also launch its second branch at the Bahrain Financial Harbor soon in addition to increasing its ATMs in prime locations to enhance its services.
