Amman, December 22nd, 2009 - Kawar Group, a leading Jordanian conglomerate, hosted an Employee Recognition Ceremony on Sunday December 20th, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel to recognize and reward its staff members for their performance, achievements and long-term service.

The ceremony included 200 staff members from Kawar Group's various business interests that include shipping & transport, logistics, travel & tourism, ICT, healthcare management, energy and trade. The group of companies that attended the ceremony included Amin Kawar & Sons, GAC Jordan, PIL-Jordan, Manara Shipping Company, Aqaba Shipping Company, Red Sea Shipping Agency, Kawar Transport & Transit (KARGO), Amin Kawar & Sons for Travel & Tourism, Kawar Energy and Kawar International for Trade and Development.

The ceremony was also attended by the upper management of the Kawar Group's various companies (NatHealth, Advanced Medical Equipment, IrisGuard, D1G and Aqaba Logistics Village) in addition to the Group's Chairman Mr. Tawfiq Kawar, Ambassador and President Mr. Karim Kawar, and CEO Mr. Rudain Kawar.

Ambassador Karim Kawar welcomed the staff members and thanked them for their hard work and commitment in assisting the conglomerate achieve some remarkable milestones over the past 55 years, which was followed by a presentation by Mr. Rudain Kawar on the company's plans, objectives and activities expectations for 2010.

The ceremony included a number of different activities to recognize the employees for their years of service, performance and achievements, as well as entertainment by a musical band made up of the Group's employees. The ceremony provided an opportunity for the employees of the Group's different companies to meet and socialize with each other over dinner.
