Dubai: Intertec Systems LLC, headquartered in Dubai, has signed an exclusive joint venture agreement with London-based Zorn Associates for the development and marketing in Europe of its software and service product offerings. The joint venture is called Intertec Business systems Ltd., and is based in London, UK.
In selecting the most suitable development and commercialisation partner for its range of software and service products and in line with its goal of maximising the product’s potential in the market, Intertec’s objective was to find a partner that has a commitment with respect to marketing, sales, and support expertise as well as the financial resources to fully support the programme.
Intertec is a class leader in airport management software with its AIMS product, as well as hotel, travel, ERP and supply chain management related products. Intertec is able to fully support the products using a strong services practice based in Dubai and India. Intertec has also established direct alliances with global giants like HP, Cisco, Datastream, LANDesk, Power Quest, FrontRange Solutions, IBM, Liant, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, OpenText, Cosmocom, Computer Associates and NORDX/CDT.
Agostino Grasso, Managing Director of Intertec Business systems, said: “This partnership enhances the strong offerings of Intertec LLC on its road to providing global sales, marketing and support for its wide range of products. Full European presence will be available through the UK base.”

Earlier this month Intertec embarked on a major corporate re-launch aimed at crossing regional and geographical barriers and positioning itself as a global IT solutions company. Running parallel with its plans to establish its European market are its efforts to establish in the Gulf countries a strong network of distributors/re-sellers for Intertec’s application software and IT solutions business.
