Executives invited to hear about INSEAD's GEMBA programme and attend 'Social Capital and Innovation' master class

Manama 14 March 2010 - INSEAD, the leading international business school, today announced that it will host an information session and master class for executives interested in learning more about the school's Global Executive MBA programme (GEMBA). Taking place at the Sheraton Hotel in Manama, Bahrain on 17 March 2010 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm, executives will have the opportunity to meet and network with INSEAD alumni and hear about INSEAD's GEMBA programme and admissions process.

Executives attending the information session will also be invited to participate in a master class on 'Social Capital and Innovation,' presented by Stephen Mezias, INSEAD professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise, The Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Chaired Professor in International Management, and Associate Academic Director, The Abu Dhabi Campus, INSEAD.

The master class will focus on the increasing relevance of the collaborative digital age as managers have come to realise that the shared values that promote social cooperation are an important source of advantage for people and firms. In an exclusive group setting, professor Mezias will discuss how firms can leverage social capital to increase their capability for innovations in the marketplace.

INSEAD's Global Executive MBA is designed for experienced professionals and provides an unmatched international and multicultural experience. Structured in a convenient modular format over a compact period, the programme allows executives to pursue their careers simultaneously.

Adding to INSEAD's well-established Europe-Asia GEMBA programme, the newly launched Middle East section of the GEMBA in Abu Dhabi offers the opportunity for those based in and near the United Arab Emirates to study in this region.

INSEAD's GEMBA Programme was launched in 2003 and ranked in the top percentile of programmes in this year's Financial Times EMBA rankings. The GEMBA begins each October across INSEAD's three campuses in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
