HCT held recently Celebration of Partnership honoring employers, partners, and HCT-Dubai graduates for their outstanding support of the College during the 2011-2012 academic year.
The annual event celebrates the fruitful and abiding partnership ties HCT-Dubai establishes every year with the national and international communities and highlights outstanding contributions by staff, students and graduates. The event was attended by Hala Badri, HCT-Dubai graduate who was ranked at 37 in Forbes Middle East magazine's list of top 100 most powerful businesswomen in public shareholding companies and representatives of the banking, business, and media sectors in the UAE and DWC graduates and staff.
Hala who is also Executive Vice President, Brand and Communications at du, talked about the importance of partnership: "The main ingredients for a successful partnership are Respect, Responsibility and Generosity."
Dr. Howard Reed, Director of HCT-Dubai told attendees "Partnerships are essential to the success of our students and because of your contributions, HCT-Dubai, Women's Campus, became successful."
Cisco Systems represented Hital Muraj, Regional Lead, East Africa, Corporate Affairs received the Industry based learning Platinum award. "We are grateful for HCT-Dubai tremendous support and look forward for future engagements. This is a win-win for us, the students, and the community," said Hital.
Hital added that Cisco is honoured to work with HCT-Dubai, Women's Campus, on the international work experience project. "We are pleased that HCT-Dubai chose to work with us and most importantly the underserved community."
A number of partners were awarded during the ceremony including Dubai Health Authority, Al Mashreq Bank, Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation, HSBC, uptown Mirdiff Preliminary School, Raffles School, DEWA among others.
