Kuwait - 13 July 2015: Gulf Bank recently sponsored Al Rayah's freshmen orientation event which took place at Zomorruda Ballroom. The orientation event was held to welcome over 500 students who were recently accepted in universities in the United Kingdom and Ireland through the Ministry of Higher Education Scholarships.

The event was attended by H.E. Matthew Lodge - British Ambassador to Kuwait, and included several workshops and booths that introduced different cities and course majors in the UK and Ireland. The
Al Rayah serves all Kuwaiti students pursuing education in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It helps strengthen collaborative ties and friendship among them by offering academic, cultural and national programs geared towards facilitating their education years away from home.  

Gulf Bank's sponsorship of this event as well as other student activities and events in the UK and Ireland are part of its continued commitment towards society.
