Dubai: Global Village, the UAE and wider region's leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, has announced that Season 25 will be extended by two weeks until Sunday, May 2nd. The Silver Jubilee anniversary has seen high popularity with guests enjoying the celebrations and outdoor weather while exploring a world of wonder. As such, this latest news is sure to be welcomed across the UAE. Aside from having extra time to spend at Global Village, fans can make even more memories as they experience the spirit of Ramadan at the park during the first few weeks of the Holy Month, while they enjoy the unique Ramadan shopping experience from around the world.
Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer, Global Village, said: "Delighting guests, uniting cultures, and bringing our communities even closer together has been at the heart of our operations for more than two decades. Although recent times presented the world with many challenges, we are proud to have broken barriers in the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector. With world-class precautionary measures in place since October 25th, we have elevated guest confidence in new normal conditions, delivering the very best experiences safely. This, together with guests' enthusiasm and the positive impact of our Silver Jubilee Season, encouraged us to work with our partners to extend this season by 14 days. Ramadan is a month where families come together, and Global Village is the perfect open-air destination to spend time with loved ones. We are looking ahead to the Holy Month as a perfect finale to this milestone year as we continue to celebrate wonder."
During Ramadan operating hours will change from standard timings, with the park instead open from 6PM to 2AM daily to accommodate guests over during Iftar and Suhoor timings. The unique shopping, family-friendly funfair rides and games, and of course the delicious food options, makes Global Village the perfect Ramadan destination. The multicultural family destination continues applying world-class, award winning, precautionary measures in line with local and international best practices to ensure the wellbeing of its guests.
Global Village is also a great place to prepare for Ramadan with its 3,500+ outlets. For those looking for Ramadan decorations and home accessories, Egypt, Turkey, AlSanaaa, and Khalifa Foundation pavilions are home to the best collections, while a range of Ramadan sweets can be purchased from the Turkey, Syria, and Morocco pavilions. Spices perfect for popular Ramadan dishes are available in shops and stalls within the UAE, Yemen, Pakistan, Kuwait and Bahrain pavilions, and guests of all ages will enjoy strolling around the pavilions in the lead-up to the Holy Month.
