Gindara, a word in Japanese meaning black cod fish, is reputed for being a popular fish with mild flavour, low fat content and has also existed for over a 1000 years.

From the 1st to 31st May 2007, Minato is host to an exclusive Gindara promotion featuring fresh Black Cod Fish dishes prepared by Minato's famous Chef De Cuisine Toshi.
Throughout the month of May, enjoy an ever-tempting traditional Japanese menu consisting of Gindara Yu An Yaki, marinated black cod fish grilled in Tokyo style, Gindara Wakame Ankake, Steamed imported black cod fish with bamboo shoot in a seaweed sauce, Gindara Nabe, Japanese hot pot with ankimo ponze sauce and Gindara Saikyo Yaki with Broccoli Sauce, grilled imported black cod fish marinated in soy beans paste with broccoli butter sauce.
