Four Seasons spas across the region also take top honours at the prestigious

consumer-voted awards

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Amman has won the 2012 SpaFinder Wellness Readers' Choice Country Award as the Favorite Spa in Jordan for the second year in a row.

The recognition is awarded annually to top spas globally by spa guests across the world. The 2012 Readers' Choice Awards garnered a record number of votes, more than any other year in its 10-year history. Consequently, the Awards provide the broadest consumer review of today's global spa market.

Commenting on this success, Livio Faverio, general manager at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, said: "Winning such a highly esteemed and globally recognised award for our Spa crowns our efforts and constant quest for excellence in always delivering the service and quality our guests deserve."

Readers' Choice Awards are based on votes submitted worldwide at SpaFinder Wellness' global consumer websites (including SpaFinder.com) and by readers of SpaFinder Wellness digital publications. Voters were asked to cast ballots only for stay and day spas they've personally visited within the past three years.

Spas at other Four Seasons properties also took top honours. The Spa & Hammam at 
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus took home the SpaFinder Wellness Readers' Choice Country Award for the favourite spa in Turkey, the third consecutive year it has walked away with the accolade. The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh also claimed the prestigious 2012 Country Award for Egypt.

Further afield, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel George V was named one of the Best Hotel Spas in Europe by the US magazine Travel + Leisure for the sixth consecutive year.
