In a landmark step, the first of its kind in Jordan , Batelco Jordan and Menhaj for educational programs signed an agreement enabling Batelco Jordan to manage an e-leaning site for Menhaj. Students and their parents will now be able, through the internet site, to access various modes of learning and education including various curricula regarding a wide array of subjects students are concerned with. Students will be able to use 0810 numbers in order to access the educational site for Menhaj without having to be subjected to unwanted pop-ups and indecent sites. This feature will provide parents with a sense of security towards what their children are subjected to on the Internet. The site will also establish the importance of e-learning in Jordan .
Menhaj, established in 2000, is considered the first company in Jordan and the Middle east that provides e-learning. The company has utilized the expertise of various professionals in the educational and academic fields in order to develop an accurate educational curriculum including illustrative graphics and film streams integrating modern and technological techniques to the educational programs.
Executive Manager of Menhaj, Mr. Ghassan al Lahham said of the agreement " We are pleased and we have placed a lot of effort and time in creating this educational program and designing it.
