Executives from the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure show secure new business at IAAPA expo in the US

DUBAI: A senior delegation from the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) exhibition found themselves rushed off their feet at the recent International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo 2010, held in Florida, as they signed up a number of fresh bookings for DEAL 2011.

More than 30 new companies pledged their support for DEAL 2011 signing up to exhibit at the show during IAAPA. Several more companies have expressed interest in attending next year's event, with show organisers International Expo-Consults (IEC) now confident that DEAL 2011 could prove to be the most successful edition of the event in its 17-year history.

"We've been delighted with the response to DEAL 2011. With the opening of such prestigious developments as Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi the Middle East's amusements industry is showing positive signs of future growth and DEAL will play an important role in this," said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of IEC.

"Our team of senior executives were very busy at IAAPA, showing the synergies between the two shows, and returned to Dubai with a number of confirmed exhibitors and are now following up with more enquiries."

DEAL 2011 welcome some of the amusement industry's leaders, with regional and global names such as Amusement Services International (ASI), Falgas Industries, Rainbow Productions, Zamperla Middle East and Warehouse of Games.

Among the brands that booked space for DEAL at IAAPA are Westech, 3D Branded Attractions, Maurer Rides, Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE), Elton Games and Lagotronics.

Now in its 17th year, DEAL 2011 will take place from April 4-6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. For more information visit www.themeparksdubai.com
