The Middle East's leading integrated project and programme management consultancy Faithful+Gould has appointed Mark Ainger as Country Director for its 140 people-strong Qatari division in the Middle East.
Mark has been in the industry for 30 years, most recently as Technical Director within the property and buildings division for WSP and Director of Buildings for AECOM; in Qatar. With a strong background in strategic leadership and business development, and having been responsible for developing client relationships, the Qatar division of Faithful+Gould with Mark at the helm expects to provide integral support to key clients
Mark's appointment follows Faithful+Gould's strategy for the region aimed at ensuring the consultancy remains in the best possible position to deliver strong and consistent growth. He will be responsible for developing the company's business in Qatar and positioning Faithful+Gould to make the most of the strategic opportunities available over the coming years as part of Qatar's National Vision 2030.

Atkins has recently acquired Confluence Project Management Pte. Ltd. ('Confluence'), a project management business with operations in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and India, for a debt-free cash consideration of £8.4m.
The acquisition complements well the Group's Faithful+Gould project and cost management consultancy business and, in particular, augments its presence in the commercial, retail and hospitality sectors.
