Epson has announced the Middle East launch of the DFX-9000, its latest heavy duty dot matrix printer that is ideal for warehouses, finance departments, banks or wholesalers, where there is a high volume of printing required. It is designed to be reliable, fast and durable in any heavy duty printing environment. The printer is not only the fastest, and one of the most cost efficient in its class, it also offers smooth paper handling, a long lasting ribbon and a wide range of connectivity options.   

The DFX-9000 has a maximum speed of 1550 cps (10 cpi), ideal when data and information is needed quickly. Those who require multiple copy capabilities will benefit greatly from the DFX-9000. It prints 1 original and 9 copies when feeding from the front and 1 original plus 6 copies when feeding from the rear, making it suited for invoicing, listing, or when several copies of the same document are required.

The DFX-9000 is designed for heavy duty applications. A Mean Volume Between Failure (MVBF) of 133 million lines and a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of 20,000 hours, ensures that it is reliable and will continuously print data, without the need to stay close to monitor the printing process.

Flexible paper handling is enhanced with the addition of two standard push tractors, which allow forms to be loaded from the front and rear of the printer. The optional pull tractor and the automatic-platen-gap adjustment also ensures that all paper types and labels will feed smoothly through the DFX-9000.

The Epson DFX-9000 has flexible connectivity with USB, serial and parallel interfaces available. It also has the option of network, Twinax and Coax interfaces.
