MANAMA, Bahrain, 01 April, 2015 - The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Bahrain held a learning event on Bahrain's employment law and legal framework conducted by lawyer Nezar Raees at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel.
More than 20 entrepreneurs from various businesses followed an informative lecture focusing on practical business-oriented advices on labor and employment issues. Topics featured included employment termination and best practices how to avoid costly legal situations.
About Nezar Raees
Nezar Raees is the first Bahraini lawyer to hold a practicing certificate permitting him to practice law in England and Wales. He obtained his practicing certificate in Bahrain in 2000 and in England and Wales in 2004. He is a member of the Bahrain Bar Association and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He is also a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. Nezar specialises in corporate and commercial law and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, joint ventures, group restructuring, private placements and private equity work.
He is the Senior Partner and Head of Commercial at Nezar Raees Associates, a law firm set up by him in 2008. The firm offers premium legal services with a specific focus on corporate and commercial law, litigation and dispute resolution, employment law and intellectual property. Its client base covers a wide range of international and local corporate clients, individuals and financial institutions.
