Durrat Al Bahrain's villas have been designed to embody Bahrain's rich natural beauty and its affinity with the land and sea. Arranged across Durrat Al Bahrain's necklace of inter-connected residential islands, the villas offer every conceivable modern amenity to make the lives of residents as enjoyable as possible. Homeowners will be able to relax in their waterfront homes, exhilarating in the beautiful views across the crystal clear waters of the southern Bahraini sea.
Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Chairman of Durrat Al Bahrain, said, "Durrat Al Bahrain offers a unique lifestyle. Our new homeowners will now be able to live a life of island living in a thriving urban environment. Today marks an important day in the history of Durrat Al Bahrain. Only four years ago we set out to make our vision a reality, by taking this beautiful part of Bahrain and creating a new island-based city for the 21st century. Today, we can begin to see our vision becoming reality. I would like to thank everyone who has been involved with the project so far and we welcome our new homeowners to Durrat Al Bahrain, as they begin to experience the wonders of island living."
Commenting on the hand over, Jassim Al Jowder, CEO of Durrat Al Bahrain, said, "This is a proud day for all us associated with Durrat Al Bahrain. In a relatively short period of time we have done something very special here. We took a bold idea to create a unique island-based city and decided to create it. Today, as our first homeowners move in, we can see just how far we have come with our vision. More than 1000 luxury, waterfront villas will be handed over to homeowners over the next few months in phases. Over time, our homeowners will be able to increasingly experience the endless possibilities that Durrat Al Bahrain offers as we continue to create this unique island city. I would like to thank the employees of Durrat Al Bahrain and our partners for working so hard to get to this historic day. We still have much to achieve to complete our vision, but, in the meantime we welcome our new homeowners to their new lives in Durrat Al Bahrain."
Over the next several months, an increasing number of residents will be able to experience living their lives in Durrat Al Bahrain's modern, luxury villas.
