Dubai, UAE : Dubai-based international supermodel Elvira Jain has added her flavour to a Chopard Red Carpet Exclusive event in Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai recently. She made a special appearance at the invitation of the famous Swiss luxury watch and jewellery brand Chopard at its private collection display.
This marks the global recognition of Dubai as a fashion destination as well as the stature of Elvira Jain as the face of Dubai’s fashion industry in the global fashion world. She was the only celebrity invited by Chopard at the event.
She works with the largest international fashion brands including Armani, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and Gucci, etc.
“This is a matter of great honour and pride not only for me but also for Dubai – the city chosen by Chopard to host this international exclusive event attended by a handful of Ultra High Networth Individuals (UHNWIs) who buys luxury watches and jewellery from such exclusive events,” Elvira Jain says.
“I was surprised to see myself at the Chopard table – as the only supermodel – surrounded by Chopard family members and some of the UHNWIs.”
The Dubai-based supermodel Elvira has been a regular invitee at the Venice Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival red carpets as well as a participant at many other fashion shows.
The Moldova-born supermodel, hails from a family of renowned scientists who have over 100 patents, began her career by launching a modelling agency at the age of 18, after graduating with an MBA from London Business School, which she sold when she was 23. She was earlier discovered by designer Valentina Vidracsu at the age of 16, while still at school, who showed her a glimpse into the world of modelling, leading her to sign with agencies all across the globe, from China, Milan, Greece, India and beyond.
Elvira Jain has worked – and still works – with big brands, featured on various magazine covers and worked on regional campaigns. Recently, she was at the Venice Film Festival as an invited supermodel – the only one from this part of the world. She is a regular fashion model for Gucci and recently has done a fashion shoot for Gucci.

Elvira Jain was born and raised in Moldova. She is the granddaughter of the renowned scientist Ion Habasescu who has over 100 patents.
Elvira was discovered at the age of 16 by the designer Valentina Vidrascu, when she was still in school. She became the face of many brands and magazine covers. Her strong work ethics and positive attitude speaks of itself. She has worked with big brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Dior, Fendi etc.
She is an entrepreneur who goes by a simple yet powerful motto in life, “Believe in your dreams, make a plan, work hard to achieve them, enjoy the result and move on to the next challenge.”

After finishing school, she did her graduation in Finance and MBA in Finance from London Business School. She got signed with agencies in China (Unique models), Milan (Fashion), Greece (New model), India (Karma models), Turkey and MMG (Dubai).
She has worked with big brands around the world, been on various magazine covers and many leading campaigns. She represented Moldova as "Miss Tourism International" in China in 2009, followed by "Miss Charity" in Taiwan and in "World League of beauty and fashion" she stood 4th.
At the age of 18, she started her own agency, Dmd Model Management, a scouting/mother agency. Their main aim was to sign models for the top agencies around the world like Europe, Asia and USA. Her models made her proud and were on the cover of magazines like Vogue, Marie Claire etc. Five years later, she sold the company and moved ahead in her life.
She is working on a new beauty technology that will change the world from using Botox or injections to a natural beauty process giving the same result, without the use of needles or pain. This process will make the skin healthy and natural. This concept is going to launch first in Dubai and India soon.
