Ongoing efforts to enhance technology and customer experience earns du's Network Development programme a milestone recognition
Dubai, UAE, 07 September 2011: du has been awarded a further accolade after receiving a ISO 9001-2008 certification for the Quality Management System, developed as part of its Network Development programme. The major milestone achievement is a testament to du's continued efforts to improve upon customer experience by incorporating the latest technologies into their extensive network.
ISO 9001-2008 is the world's most widely used standard for quality management systems. du received the certificate from David Cowie, Managing Director, DQS LLC in an official ceremony at the telecom's headquarters. Accepting on behalf of du was Yatinder Mahajan, Chief Technology Officer, Hatem Bamatraf, Senior Vice President, Network Development and Operations, du, and Hanadi Ayoub, Vice President, Network Architecture & Delivery, du.

The Quality Management System was developed and implemented by du as part of the ongoing Network Development (ND) efforts to enhance technology delivery and overall customer experience. It incorporates both strategic business processes and core processes for ND activities, proving greater visibility on the roles and accountabilities of individual functions within the programme.
