Dubai: - As part of the Abu Dhabi government strategy to enrich customer experience as a pillar of continuing development, the emirate's Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities (DPM) has successfully launched its initial journey, ‘Buy A home' today at the opening of the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week, the biggest tech show in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA), which runs until October 10, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The new journey, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Services System, was launched in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) and Aldar Properties.

The new service is the result of a tripartite agreement between DPM, ADDA and Aldar Properties, which looks towards providing a new set of next-generation government services that are proactive, personalized and efficient. The process covers a series of joint initiatives and events that are aimed at promoting fruitful deliberations across parties concerned with the development of the local government service sector. The agreement is expected to pave the way in creating a seamless exchange of data among government entities via an integrated system that allows for easier access to reliable data sources in a fast, safe and efficient manner.

The new journey provides customers with a diverse range of hassle-free services related to purchasing a home. The services that are part of the journey range from searching for a suitable home based on set area requirements; engineering drawings (including home exterior designs); financing solutions offered by Aldar Properties; completion of the transfer of title process; and utilities set-up requests. As a value added service, customers can also enjoy the benefits being offered by the 'Hassantuk' program, which is the final step in the completion of the purchase and delivery of facilities wherein conditions and programs aimed at protecting your new home like firefighting systems and other safety measures are introduced to the new homeowner.

H.E. Dr. Rauda Al Saadi, Director General, ADDA, stressed on the importance of cooperation among Abu Dhabi Government entities and lauded the joint efforts of ADDA, DPM and Aldar Properties to come up with an integrated journey that meets customers' needs in a smooth and quick manner. She explained that ADDA remains fully committed in providing a model of modern government services for the emirate, which are based on innovative digital solutions and modern technologies. Al Saadi shared that the main goal of these initiatives are aimed towards meeting and exceeding customer expectations, which in turn, ensures their happiness. In line with this, H.E. expressed her full confidence and trust in local TAMM centres, online government platforms and related contact centres.

Dr. Abdullah Gharib Al Balooshi, Consultant, DPM, emphasized on the importance of this cooperation, which serves as a cornerstone of government integration towards establishing a unified digital system that adopts advanced technologies. He said: “DPM remains steadfast in its commitment to forge strategic partnerships with other government entities to create and implement fast, reliable and efficient services that meet the requirements of the people and achieve their happiness. This will also play a key role in the efforts to achieve Abu Dhabi’s vision of improving the quality of life. We will work together with ADDA to reveal the ‘Buy a home’ customer journey within ‘TAMM’ and later we will define the top priority journeys.”

Lastly, Talal Al Dhiyebi, Chief Executive Officer, Aldar Properties, said: “This partnership is in line with the strategic direction of Aldar to focus on digital transformation and the enhancement of our customers’ experience.
