He added that the reception to the various activities was really good from the children who participated in the workshops at the shopping malls where children gained a lot of new skills connected to their favourite cartoon characters -- especially from the workshops 'Make Your Own Cartoon Character' to 'Cartoon Mask Workshop' and 'Puppet Workshop'.
Mr. Al Mana' also pointed out that the Cartoon Characters like Tweety and Sylvester Game, Hockey Maze and Teletubbies Ludo Board Game, who participated in the competitions organised during the week, were highly popular with the little ones.
The cartoon characters, who walked around in the malls, added an atmosphere of fun, frolic and entertainment to the children who always wanted to meet them, offering them a chance for meet and take pictures with them.
Mr. Al Mana' said that the Captain Hamad Cartoon City has been a highly popular venue with children since the beginning of Cartoon Surprises week, wherein a vast array of events have been lined up in 12 different zones. "Considering the tremendous response to the City is an indication of the huge success that the City has achieved in its first year during Dubai Summer Surprises. The Committee will now strive to make it better in the next edition of DSS," he added.
Mr. Al Mana' talked about the efforts that the working committee had put in making the Cartoon Surprises week a grand success.
