A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shaima AlQassab, AIESEC Representative, and Dr.Vikas Batheja, Co-Founder of Capital College on 20th of February 2020 creating a strong collaboration with the purpose of making a change in the education sector in the UAE.
Capital College, leading institution of learning licensed by the Government of Sharjah, and AIESEC, a global platform for young people, have built a collaboration with the purpose of bringing international affordable education closer to the young people locally and internationally. With Capital offering international degrees & qualifications from the UK/USA and AIESEC providing a worldwide platform for the youth, new scholastic initiatives will be introduced, which in turn, will have a great impact on the concept of education.
We are used to believe that international education is nearly unattainable due to high university fees and travelling expenses. However, the notion is fairly outdated as nowadays students do not have to go outside of their countries or even get into debts and loans to pay for their college. Capital College is committed to change people’s minds on edification by making it more accessible for people from different social statuses, cultures & countries. We are perfectly aware that providing affordable accredited international degrees does not distinguish us from others, however, we have adapted an entrepreneurial model of teaching that is focused on shaping future world-changers and this in turn differentiate us entirely.
AIESEC is a non-political and not-for-profit youth-run organization focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development through exchange opportunities all around the world. Partnering with AIESEC will allow Capital to expand its reach and reach out more students, offering them affordable British and American Degrees. As an international youth platform and an educational provider, AIESEC and Capital have a great opportunity to organize inspirational talks for students and continue sharing knowledge through invited experts for free. We are also planning to assemble monthly free masterclasses, seminars and workshops for all people who are willing to upgrade themselves. Our mission is to bring value to our students and prepare them for the competitive world through creativity, strategic thinking, personality development and specialised knowledge.
